Meet Our Team

Dr. Tania Bergeron was born in Alliston, ON. She was from a military family so they moved around quite a bit while she was growing up. Her high school years were spent in Moose Jaw, SK and then onto vet school in Saskatoon. After university she moved to Edmonton, AB where she worked for 3 years. In 2016 she had the chance to move to Saskatchewan again, specifically to Prince Albert. As her family had settled here and her husband’s family is from here she could not pass up the opportunity. She started working at South Hill Animal Clinic and she decided she was here to stay! She especially loves the people she gets to meet every day, the relaxed ‘small town’ feeling, the lakes, trees, and beautiful outdoors surrounding us, and of course the fact that her family is nearby. She now lives on a small acreage outside of Prince Albert with her husband, daughter, three dogs, and two cats. In October 2018 Tania purchased South Hill Animal Clinic. She has since made quite a few exciting updates and improvements, with many more to come over the years ahead. She has special interests in medicine and dentistry. Favorite Dog Breed: Mutt's Hobbies/Interests: Camping, kayaking, being outdoors in the summer, spending time with family, running and yoga. Favorite part of my job: All of our nice, special clients make me happy, and the patients of course! If I could have one superpower what would it be: Teleportation. Favorite Movie/Song: Too many favorites, there's no way to pick just one. Decade I wished I grew up in: The 90's were fun!

Dr. Kennedy is from Biggar, SK but went to vet school in Sydney, Australia, where she lived for 7 years. She has always been a cat person but she loves dogs and horses too. Before joining the South Hill team in 2025 she worked in mixed animal, small animal, and emergency clinics. Emergency was probably her favorite as she was able to do lots and also see many Aussie wildlife species! Dr Kennedy is a big proponent of preventative wellness and has started offering acupuncture for our patients! Favorite Dog Breed: Cats Hobbies/Interests: Reading, baking, hiking, gardening. Travel - I've been all over Europe and Australia, next on my list will be South America! Favorite part of my job: All of the animal cuddles I get during visits. If I could have one superpower what would it be: Teleportation. Favorite Movie/Song: Where the Crawdads Sing Decade I wished I grew up in: 70's

Heather was born and raised in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Oulton's College in Moncton, New Brunswick in 2011. After graduating she worked in mixed animal practice in Yellowknife NWT, Meadow Lake SK, and North Battleford SK before ending up at South Hill Animal Clinic in 2016. Heather and her husband bought a home in Meath Park in 2016 and live there with their 3 dogs (Benson, Sonny, and Sport) and their 3 cats (Dunphy, Pritchett, and the former clinic cat Potter). Favorite Dog Breed: Pitty's Hobbies/Interests: Camping, fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, curling, cooking, gardening, spending time with friends and enjoying quiet alone time. Favorite part of my job: Working with an amazing team. If I could have one superpower what would it be: Invisibility Favorite Movie: Home Alone, at christmas time. Decade I wished I grew up in: 70's maybe, but I was pretty happy with the 90's!

Brittney was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the Veterinary Technologist Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2021, and then quickly passed her VTNE to officially become a Registered Veterinary Technologist. Brittney moved to Prince Albert shortly after graduation to start her career with South Hill Animal Clinic, and she has been here ever since! Favorite Dog Breed: Golden Retrievers, although I love my Norwegian Elkhound, "Moose", at home. Hobbies/Interests: Drawing, crocheting, and baking, but can also be found binge-watching Netflix and YouTube videos. Favorite part of my job: Performing diagnostics, including blood collection, running bloodwork, and radiology. Above all, my favorite part is seeing my patient's improvement, whether that be from successful treatment plans or an anxious/stressed animal learning to trust and be more comfortable in clinic. If I could have one superpower what would it be: The ability to teleport. Favorite Movie: How to Train Your Dragon Favorite Song: Comes from How to Train Your Dragon's soundtrack: "Romantic Flight" by John Powell. Decade I wished I grew up in: I enjoyed the era I grew up in, but would love to go back to the 90s/early 2000s because life seemed simpler and more fun back then, but we still had enough modern technology to get by.

Shelbie was born in Moose Jaw and soon after moved to a farm in the Battleford area, where she discovered her love for all animals, small, large, and exotic. She was always learning everything she could about them. In 2022 Shelbie attended the Veterinary Technologist program in Vermilion, Alberta. After passing her Veterinary Technician National Exam she was off to a mixed animal practice in Elrose, SK. She joined our South Hill team in 2025. Shelbie currently has one dog, one cat, and 2 rabbits. She has always been a cat person but owning a smaller breed indoor dog has been a great experience! Favorite Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Hobbies/Interests: I've always loved to see and learn about the world so I love to travel as much as I can. In the summer I can be found at the beach, kayaking or doing water sports. Wintertime you can find me skidooing, fishing, baking, or reading. Favorite part of my job: Working with such a great team and getting to see sick patients leave the clinic feeling better. If I could have one superpower, what would it be: Flying. No more traffic jams for me! Favorite Movie: Wall-E Decade I wished I grew up in: Maybe the 80's because I could have the hair for it! Haha. But I did like my decade in the 90's.

Monica was born and raised in a small village in New Brunswick. She graduated from Oulton College in N.B and has been working as a vet assistant since 2016. In 2024 she moved to Saskatchewan and joined our team. She’s a passionate horse enthusiast with 20 years of riding experience. Her partner and farm life dream brought her to the Prince Albert area. Favorite Dog Breed: Husky, I love a good challenge Hobbies/Interests: Most include being outdoors or traveling, I love camping, sitting around a bonfire or going out for a trail ride on horseback. Otherwise, I have a great passion for social media and online shopping. Favorite part of my job: How this team is more like a family, and everyone is so supportive. The cute animals are a big bonus. If I could have one superpower, what would it be: Teleportation Favorite Movie: The Ice Age movies Decade I wished I grew up in: 70’s to 90’s where farming was part of everyone’s day and they all had big families with lots of farm animals.

Quinne was born in Prince Albert before moving to Warman when she was 5 years old. She was always trying to save animals off the street and bring them home as a kid. This influenced her decision to begin her degree in Animal Science at the University of Saskatchewan, which she completed at the end of 2024. Shortly after graduating she moved back to PA to be closer to family and the lake and start her career at South Hill Animal Clinic. Favorite Dog Breed: It is incredibly hard to choose just one, but I have always had a soft spot for shepherds! Hobbies/Interests: Being with family and friends at the lake fishing, snowmobiling, or surfing. Spending time at the cheerleading gym coaching and working on tumbling skills. Favorite part of my job: Working with such a great team and hearing stories about your pets and all their funny quirks. If I could have one superpower, what would it be: The ability to fly and see the world from above whenever I wanted. Favorite Movie: The Golden Compass Decade I wished I grew up in: I enjoyed growing up in the decade I did and wouldn’t change a thing!

Erin was born in Canada then moved to Orange County, California just before she turned 6. She lived with her dad and went to school down there and spent her summers in Weirdale, SK with her mom. She graduated from Saddleback Community College in 2008, in Califorina. After graduating she craved seasons other than summer and decided to move back to the great white north. Erin now lives outside of Meath Park with her boyfriend, stepdaughter, twin boys, cat Henry and dog Baxley. Favorite Dog Breed: Bernese Mountain Dog Hobbies/Interests: fishing, mushroom picking, camping, floating, boating, admiring foliage, cross country skiing and sitting around a fire with adult beverages laughing with my friends to name a few things. Favorite part of my job: The cute animals, duh. If I could have one superpower what would it be: Self Thermostat; the ability to feel warm/cool no matter what I’m wearing. Favorite Movie: Pirate Radio. Favorite Song: "Sunny Afternoon" by The Kinks. Decade I wished I grew up in: The 90’s was “rad” and all but I was meant for the 60’s.

Julia was born and raised in Germany and then moved to Vienna, Austria where she graduated from vet school. She was working in an animal hospital where she cared for an average of 25 hospitalized patients a day when she fell in love with the most wonderful person. Thanks to her, Julia came to Canada and made Prince Albert her home. She has since discovered that it is true that prairie people are the friendliest people ever! Favorite Dog Breed: That’s a very hard decision. There are too many cute ones out there and I love all of them! Hobbies/Interests: Korean dramas, puzzles, reading, musicals, writing Favorite part of my job: Working as part of a kind and supportive team, working with animals and helping them, and getting to know all their parents! If I could have one superpower what would it be: Turning thoughts into reality – this way everything would be possible. 😊 Favorite Movie: The Harry Potter universe – I love all things Harry Potter. One of my favourite quotes is: "The ones that love us never really leave us." ~ Sirius Black. Decade I wished I grew up in: I feel very blessed that I grew up when I did. I wouldn’t change a thing. I have so many wonderful people in my life, wouldn’t want to miss them for the world.
